While 2020 has already seen strong growth vs. 2019 – according to the latest forecast from Canalys, by the end of 2021 the PC market is expected to be on the rise again, growing by 8% year-on-year to 496.8 million units shipped across all categories.
The average increase in the first half of the year is 30%, but this is expected to slow down due to the shortage of components for PC manufacturing by the end of the year.
The education sector will continue to be a key driver of this growth.
